What I am loving...

BOOTS!!

I am loving my new BOOTS.. Actually not that new.. they are 2 months old.

This is what I have been wearing on my legs from the time I got them. I know they resemble UGGS which I love.

Can I just say I cant live without them.. Like literally.. Am scared I have to stop wearing them this spring/summer.

Hi guys! I know, I know... I have been far far away from blogging since last month. But I have a pretty good reason for that. I was on a trip to India last month for 15 days. Just 15days?? I wanted to stay there for long but had to get back because we dint have much holidays. I had some amazing time in India.

Anyways.. This post is about our "retreat".. Getting back to that. While coming back to uk we had our transit in Goa, so we decided that we would stay back in Goa for a day and take some time off.

This was my second time in Goa and it was amazing. We stayed at the Radisson blu resorts in the "South Goa". This new resort was pretty good place to stay at. I would definitely go there once again if I get a chance.

THE Hotel had a awesome lobby.. Like Huge!!

The swimming pool tended to be quite busy.

The evening buffet with the array of delicious food accompanied by music.

Our accommodation was in a garden villa which was very well appointed. They take you to your room in a "buggy" which means you don't have to walk.

Comfortable bed, plenty of room, nice shower with good water pressure.

There's also a kids room, gym and spa. They also offer you a free jacuzzi and sona.

Food at the hotel was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast.

Since the entry to the private "Cavelossim beach" was a short walk through the gardens, we preferred to goto that beach instead of the busy beaches up in the north like "baga and calangute". This beach had everything to offer like the beach shacks, beach chair, good food and water sports.

We witnessed the most amazing "sunset" ever. Seriously guys it doesn't get better than this.

What is Goa without a beach and water sports?? Right... I really enjoyed the "Para Sailing". It was like heaven <3

Jet skiing was good as well...

I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for a special occasion or just a holiday. It is truly excellent.

Watching these pics makes me wanna go back again.... Who knows? maybe I will SOon....

Flashback 2013 with pictures...

2013 was a very special year for me in so many ways and I can already feel that 2014 will also be an amazing year as well. Last year was like bitter-sweet for me. I met my husband and got married, moved to the UK and was trying hard to settle down in the new country, travelled to a lot of places, made new friends, started blogging and went on Hajj. So many things changed in life. I am very greatful.

Last year will be my favourite year yet.

I am very excited for this year. I am confident that this year will also bring many more exciting thing and happy moments. I don't have many new year resolutions but just a few like I need to be more organized, be more productive and blog more often, eat very healthy and work out atleast 4days a week. DIY: Make up/Cotton Holder

Today am gonna show you how to make Makeup brush holder. This is a very easy DIY which doesn't take much time. You can put your "makeup brushes" in it and also use this container to store any loose items cotton pads, cotton balls, hair clips n bands or any candies. Just so you can stay more organised.

Am gonna show you how to turn a used up candle and turn it into a pretty and simple holder.

1. This will work with any glass container. So you will need a completely used up candle, some regular nail polish remover, a couple of cotton pads, a glass of hot water and a knife.

2. Use a knife to trace around the edge of the candle to loosen the wax. Insert the knife in the centre and twist to make the wax crack.

3. You can now remove the chunks easily.

4. Now to remove the wick that is glued to the bottom of the glass container. Take a glass of hot water and pour it into the container and carefully swirl it around to loosen the glue and you can easily remove the wick. Then used a little soap and sponge to clean out the inside of the container. The label can easily be removed with a knife.

5. And remove any stubborn residue with a cotton pad and nail polish remover.

6. Once it's dried u can start adding your makeup brushes/clips or bands.
