Eid festival at Trafalgar Square London

Hi! my beautiful readers. How are you doing today?
It was a very big festival for all of us. The end of 30 day Ramadan fasts marks the EID UL FITR festival.

There was a big celebration organised in london last saturday by the "Mayor of London". SO me and my hubs (hubby) decided to go for it. And I was so excited to go that I kept thinking about it the whole time we were on our train to london!!

my SATURDAY went something like this....
This is my train ticket to London : which also allows you to travel in all the "tube stations" and "buses" in London. This is the easiest way to explore the city because with the traffic in London we can not afford to drive cars and we'll be taking huge risks while parking the car.

As we were arriving at the Kings Cross Station, suddenly there was an announcement to vacate the station from the nearest exit. This made me a little scared but apparently they do this more often just to make sure everything is good.

On our way to the festival...
The sightseeing buses of London. These buses take you to all the tourist attractions in city. These buses are never empty.

So yummy and delicious cupcakes in a store. I couldn't resist it. I had to eat one!!
LOLA's CUPCAKES
We went to the Carnaby street which I loved. Such a cool place with all the good stores.

Watch the video below to see the amazing glittery flag which breaks down into pieces as we go near it.

Finally here we are! TRAFALGAR Square!! Look at the amazing view and such amazing people who turned up. I loved the atmosphere.

Q n A with the kids. The kids are so much fun.

They were many stalls, out of which was the "Mehendi stall". I got my Mehendi done by henna artist PAWAN who is the Gunnies world record holder for being the fastest in the trade.

here is a video I made which gives you more idea how the day was like.

After all the fun, it was time for our dinner and we went to this Indian place named :"MASALA Zone"

I had this "Gol gappas" and Indian Thali for dinner. Being in the UK and still wanna eat Indian food sometimes coz it is just so good!!! I cant resist this chaat. I mean no body can... I love it.! :)

Look at the ceiling of this place!! It is so cutee! I love it.

This was my day!! I hope you had a good time too.

Much Love
