The Shard - tallest building in Europe

The Shard is an iconic Landmark of the london skyline. It is the tallest building in the western Europe. The Shard is London's highest best view. It is London's most eagerly awaited attraction. 

We can have a 360 degree views for up to 40 miles.  

A couple of months back me and husband just happened to be near this building and we decided to check it out...

Looking up you will see the shards of glass that form the top of the skyscraper.

 This is entirely a glass building. The Shard includes Offices, restaurants, Hotels and also Residences.

For people who want to take a look at the view from the top floor there is a separate entry and separate elevator lift which takes you to the highest floors i.e floor 68-72. This might cost you about 32£ per person. 

But we decided that we can easily go to a restaurant up there and spend the same money or even less on a meal and still get to see the view of London. How cool are we hun??

So we went to a restaurant out there which was on the floor 32. And OMG the lift on the shard was super amazingly fast like a jet. In just a matter of 3 seconds we were already there, it was like magic.. Haha!

Next time we are planning on going to this place on an evening out because obviously the view looks entirely different in the night when the whole city lights are on.  

The entire experience was lovely and joyful.  

This is without a doubt the best view in town.

Last night....

Middle eastern cuisine is very unique and different.Some like it and some don't. We had our dinner last night at an Arabic restaurant in Luton, Dessert's Rose. A few images to give you an idea.

This Arabic restaurant had peaceful, relaxed yet elegant environment. Ethnic decor.

Yes! This cuisine is a little bland but it really depends on your taste buds. I personally love spicy food but still I liked this dish. You also don't find any kind of fat in their food which is great!!. The food was amazing cooked to perfection. Chicken is what I really enjoyed and ate all of it.  

I had Grilled half baby Chicken with Rice cooked with vegetables and cucumber salad. Delicious and Completely filling.

For desert we went to "Cookies & Cream"

was so hard to choose from many different flavours of ice cream ..

I had 2 scoops- Fudge Brownie and Strawberry Cheesecake .. Ahh!! So yummm!!!

If you live in Luton or visit this place then you definitely need to try this restaurant. I will surely go back to this place again.

Castle, wishing pool and Snow White : weekend update

All the malls up here(uk) are gearing up for an exciting holiday season. And we went to Milton Keynes mall this weekend. This place was very beautifully decorated to attract both kids and youngsters too.

The theme was "Snow White in the land of enchanted dreams". Take a look at how beautiful it looks. You can just stay here all day long. 

This was a little castle where kids lined up with their parents to meet Santa!

Wishing pool by throwing your spare coins into the wishing pool and making a special wish, you'll be helping a charity for children and young people. So many coins collected. Wow!!!

Massive massive lightings were amazing to look at.

There was a train ride around the snow and take a perk at Snow White's daily life. Can you spot the magic mirror over there?? 

Oh! There she is the "Snow White" with her Prince... 

One more ride : climb onto the animals and whirl around. How fun?

Cute little stores had many hand craft products, jewellery and paintings ..

This was really a cool place and a land of dreams for little feet where wishes come true. If only I was a kid!!! :)

Skin saviours for fall and winter

As the night draws in, extreamly cold weather in the uk can create mayhem with your skin. Freezing temperature and freezing wind combined with the central heating makes my skin super dry, itchy and creepy and so flaky .. These two products from body shop are a great saviour for me this winter!! 

The first one is the Chocomania Body Butter! 

The second one is the CoCoa butter body scrub! 

This Chocomania body butter is so amazing. 

I slather this every day all over my skin before I goto bed. It doesn't feel greasy or oily at all. And smells superb, really like a choco.  It truly truly does the job!!!

This "Cocoa body scrub" seriously smells delicious!! Use this to scrub your body and you smell like a freshly made chocolate cake. It removes dead skin cells. It will restore your skin back to its pre-winter state.

Warm n cosy lounge boots

Its getting really cold here in the UK. So one thing that is really necessary is to cover your feet really good.

I saw this cute little lounge boots in the store and thought it is really the best thing to happen.

They are so so comfortable and cosy that you don't wanna take your feet off. Haha!!

Soft Lounge boots

I wear them every day/night while lounging. They are not just nice to look at but really really warms your legs up. I love them so much that I wanna buy some more in different colors and designs. :)

I am rocking this lounge boots everyday. Every penny spent is worth it. Perfect for Autumn and Winter.

Gorgeous goody bag..

Hi beautiful ladies! how r u all doing? I am sorry, I was away from my blog. I had gone on a pilgrimage for almost 20 days and was relaxing a bit. But now I am back and back into the blogging world.

This was a month ago. I was walking into the mall and I saw a large gathering of people. I felt something suspicious and I thought I would go near and find out what's going on.

To my surprise this group of people were celebrating some kinda LADIES DAY.  

I find out they were offering free make overs( full makeup), manicure, face painting and giving out free goody bags. 

And when I saw this I was jumping out of joy.

A Goody Bag and Free???? who doesn't want that... wow!!!!!

I wanted the GOODY bag.. I wanted to have the free goody bag. And I went ahead and got one.

I was so so excited to see what's all in my pretty bag. I cant believe how happy I was that day. Here I will show you all the things I got!!!

1. Olay daily moisturiser. (Good one)

2. Jergens Ultra Healing body moisturiser. ( I love this)

3. Dried Cranberries. (Oh! so healthy)

4. Galaxy bar. ( I ate it all. couldn't resist!!!)

5. Weight Watchers healthy drink

6. Derma Blend ( It is a foundation/concealer. Samples for all the shades. I should try this)

7. Body Shop Container ( Small empty container from "Body Shop" - we can basically goto body shop and fill this up with any body butter/lotion as a sample and take with you. How cool is that? ) 

I was super super happy with my goodies.

After all who doesn't want some free stuff. right?
