Chocolate brownies / Fudge brownies

Hey! All...

Today I bring you all with a recipe that will make your taste buds go wow!!! It's so delicious and yummy that just melts in your mouth in seconds.

Brownies! Who doesn't love brownies? They are the best thing that can happen to a chocolate lover.

Recipe adapted from joy the baker

Ingredients
1 2/3 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup cocoa powder
3/4 cup butter
2 tablespoon strong coffee or water
2 large eggs
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup chocolate chips

Preheat the oven at 180 degree C. Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan. I used a round pan Instead.

Combine butter and cocoa powder in a small bowl, and place over a pot of simmering water. Make sure that the water down not touch the bottom of the bowl. Add the coffee or water and stir to melt the ingredients.

In another bowl whist the eggs and the sugar. Add vanilla extract. Now stir the chocolate mixture into the sugar mixture.

Add flour, baking powder and salt. Stir to combine. Fold in the nuts.

Pour the batter in the pan, sprinkle some chocolate chips and some nuts if you like. Bake for 18-25 minutes.

This is what it should look like after you have combined everything together and ready to be baked..

Freshly baked hot! From the oven. Beautiful crispy crust in the top.

Cut them into squares

The brownies look perfectly moist,so-gooey and delicious.

Love Love love

Oh! YUM, now I am craving chocolate brownies. I have to make a second batch now coz its already gone. If you try this recipe then let me know.

Dinner Date night!!!

Last night I had a dinner date with husband!! I love the whole idea of getting dressed up and going out to a fancy restaurant! I am a big big foodie and I like to try different things every time! Hence u always see loads of food pics in my blog! I just can't help it:)

The "makeup" I wore was just pretty simple. I used all the drugstore brands except for the foundation.

Here is what I used

Face
Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser - This is amazing. It is a tinted moisturiser but acts like a foundation. Your face looks so dewy and light. Glowing skin. My new fav.

Loreal infallible makeup powder to set ur foundation.

Loreal le blush: in True Rose(pinkish and perfect)

Eyes
Maybelline color tattoo in bad to bronze. It is a cream gel shadow. So neutral and looks great.

Maybelline gel eye liner on upper lash line and on the water line. Gel liners stay longer and they do not crease.

Loreal lash architect 4D mascara.  Good one.

Lips
Maybelline Lip butter lipstick in berry smoothie. I luv it so much...

Here is our dinner: we were super hungry so ordered Chicken steak because it is very fulling!!

Nice restaurant !!!

Hubby ordered Cajun steak:
Marinated in Cajun spices, flame grilled.

Here is my lovely ~Spicy "Pepper Chicken Steak"
Infused with a blend of pepper spices, flamed grilled.

Look more closer

We were so full with this that we decided to skip the dessert..

So the big question- did I finish everything on my plate???...??  Ahhhhhhh.. Nooo, I dint... It was too much for me. I have a small tummy you see!!!

Tell me guys - who's a big foodie out there?

Have a great weekend!!

Way to the tower outside the Castle

You can get a very beautiful n spectacular view of the castle and the surroundings if you walk up to the tower. Although you need some energy to climb up top but it is worth it..

If you wish to spend the whole day at the castle then you can attend many ongoing  shows and events over there like -Long sword fighting lessons, archery demonstration, the trebuchet fireball show, fighting of the eagles etc

Down below is the demonstration of the medieval battle.. All tourists gathered here to watch a small show put together where they showed how the battle used to take place. The trebuchet throws its missile over 150 meters!

The Warwick trebuchet show!

The view was amazing from the riverbanks !! Firing took place with the Warwick trebuchet! It was a nice show to sit and just watch

We tried archery over here and I wasn't so bad at it..
